FAQ for neuromodulators and Dermal Fillers

How long do neuromodulators last?

Most neuromodulators last on average about 4-6 months. We do recommend another treatment at 5 months to ensure continuation of the aesthetic effect.

What are the side effects?

There is a small possibility of an allergic reaction like unusual swelling or rash but it is easily treated. Bruising at the site of injection can occur due to the vascularity of the tissues in the face but firm pressure and icing can minimize it. In rare instances, the neuromodulator can affect areas of the face not intended. These can be corrected.

What NOT to do after having neuromodulators.

Do NOT exercise 24 hours afterwards.

Do NOT lie down for about 5 hours afterwards

Do NOT drink alcohol before and after for 12 hours.

Do NOT vigorously rub or do facial/massage of injected area.

How long does dermal fillers last?

What are the side effects of dermal fillers?

Do NOT put pressure in treated area.

Do NOT exercise for 24 hours.
